Age: 23. Still want him to be a security guard and live in a dorm at the school!
Canon point changes: No major changes in canon point. HOWEVER, please see below. Ron's ending to T&T was added to this mix. It's not much, but still.
Additional history: Ron probably went back home initially because he just missed his wife that much. She missed him as well, so Desirée wanted him to return just as much as he wanted to see her. He returned for what he thought would be just a vacation when suddenly, the two came up with a great idea: they could start up an organization to help out other thieves to sort out their lives and cease their criminal ways! This is Ron DeLite's ending at the end of Ace Attorney 3; you can read about his ending on his wiki page. The game also notes that, ironically, the organization the DeLites run also provides detailed plans for thieves in order to help them steal... ...?
It's safe to assume that Ron has become better at making up these plans than he used to be, considering the fact that he used to execute plans concocted by a master. This is probably not a good thing. Anyway, in their organization, Ron apparently gives plans to help thieves steal without getting caught, which... isn't right at all. If you ask him if he helps thieves steal, he won't tell you he does it, but if you ask for advice on how to steal, he'll give it to you. Just goes to show that he continues to be eager to please...
(The motives behind this organization are very confused, if you ask me. I think Ron would tell you that it's therapeutic for the recovering thieves or something, but to provide you modly types with an explanation of his reasoning would be to dive head-first into a long-winded ramble that sounds akin to the way Ron talks. That's hard to understand for everyone. Let's just say that Ron has a hard time saying "no" when people ask for something, or he just sympathizes with a thief's problems too much to say "no" to them.)
He ended up returning to Smash Academy because they sent him a notification that his job was still available to him. He took the job for the same reasons as before. And he still misses his wife just as much as before, too. Nevertheless, she said something about letting her handle all of those little details and to just work hard while she tries to figure out what to do from there.
Personality Changes: No changes. Same old Ron.
In-Character 1st person sample: Hopefully this with suffice? I particularly like that one. 8)
In-Character 3rd person sample:
With but one security guard employed by the school partnered with a ruthless security head, Ron was simply beat. Working full hours daily and sometimes volunteering to tackle night shifts right after was taking its toll on him, but that didn't matter to the lovesick thief. All that mattered to him was the response he was sure he was going to get from his beloved Desirée. He would work tirelessly for every hour of every day if it meant she would be happy with him.
This made him eager to return home, though he'd been awake for about fourty-nine hours and running on three hours of sleep by the time he made it back to his cozy apartment on the third floor of Palazzo Pelpepe. He was so out of it that when Ron reached for the key to his front door, he realized he had unfortunately left it back at the school! Ron gasped, frantically checking each of his pockets and giving himself a pat-down in hopes of recovering the key.
It was 1:32 AM, and he didn't want to knock. That would wake his dear, sweet wife, and he didn't want to do that... He let his head fall back on his shoulders, staring at the ceiling. His eyes burned, and he wanted to see Desirée so badly, but he just couldn't bring himself to knock! He groaned softly, shutting his eyes just for a moment... Just... a moment.
That's all it took for Ron to topple over. He fainted right in front of his doorway, his belongings falling over with him and clattering to the floor at his side.
Meanwhile, Desirée was standing in the bathroom after a shower when she heard something BANG! against the front door. "What in...?" she trailed off, her heart skipping a beat. She quietly made her way to the door and peered through the peep hole, but she saw nobody...! How strange. Nevertheless, she bothered to open the door just a crack, and...
"Ronnie!" she cried out.
Of course, when she finally dragged his limp body through the door frame and splashed a glass of cold water over his face, he was finally revived and staring back at her with wide eyes, sitting propped up against a wall. Then, he smiled.
"Oh, Dessie!" he managed, reaching into his pocket. It was, of course, his paycheck: far more than he'd ever made at work in one paycheck. "I-I got this for you...! And I wanted to deliver it in person, so I came home..."
She looked at the amount printed neatly on the check, then back up to her tired husband. Ron was shocked when she grabbed onto his wrist and didn't nab the check, but rather pinned it against the wall behind him and scrambled over to kiss him - and kiss him hard.
